Cynthia Chen, founder and CEO of fintech firm Kikoff, spends a lot of time thinking about AI—and making sure her employees are doing the same.
“We take a lot of effort to educate team members on different AI use cases,” Chen said, pointing to the company’s “AI Days” that focus on using the tech for productivity as well as understanding compliance and regulation.
But according to a new study from market research firm NewtonX on behalf of ADWEEK, comprehensive AI training isn’t as widespread as it should be—and companies could pay a high price.
While 69% of the 500 marketers surveyed said their companies mandate or “strongly encourage” using AI, 43% said they received no formal training on it.
