Autonomous site reliability engineering startup Komodor Ltd. said today it’s updating its artificial intelligence-native troubleshooting platform to accelerate incident resolution at a time when cloud environments are increasing in complexity and sprawl.

The company just announced the immediate availability of Klaudia Memory, which is a new capability within its automated SRE platform Klaudia that helps its autonomous AI assistants to remember and learn from prior investigations, in the same way a human would. By retaining the context of older root course analysis sessions, it can help enterprises to resolve future outages and performance issues far faster than before, the company promised.

Komodor says it’s trying to tackle a growing headache for information technology and DevOps teams that it blames squarely on the increased complexity, distribution and ephemeral nature of cloud-native applications. Because of this, tracking down the root cause of an app’s failure or performance issues has become much more time consuming than before.

Though generative AI copilots have proven to be helpful on the coding side, they tend to fall short in terms of automating production operations. That’s because, according to Komodor, they lack the specific context they need. Each organization is different, operating with its own unique architectures, hidden dependencies and business constraints. AI therefore needs time to learn about the intricacies of each businesses’ cloud operations.

This is exactly what Komodor aims to do with the launch of Klaudia Memory. Instead of relying only on their generalized training data, its AI-powered SRE agents can now learn continuously as they work and investigate new application incidents. Over time, they’ll become more familiar with the nuances of its cloud environments and the way it handles specific problems. When an outage occurs, Klaudia Memory will be able to recognize temporal patterns such as memory leaks that occur each Monday following a batch job, or correlate how a specific timeout always points to the same component.

“Since every organization has its own architecture, dependencies, constraints and history of how past incidents were resolved, generic AI co-pilots lack the context to automate the management of enterprise production environments,” Komodor co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Itiel Schwartz said. “Klaudia Memory gives teams a way to preserve that institutional knowledge and make it available during every investigation, without training on customer data or exposing one customer’s information to another.”

Because Klaudia Memory can remember the outcomes of previous root cause analyses, it’s able to skip many of the troubleshooting steps it has previously explored and prioritize investigating the most likely causes of the issue, based on an app’s history. At the same time, it can also learn to ignore signals that might look troubling but are actually benign.

It means dramatically reduced alert fatigue, while helping to preserve the kind of tribal knowledge that only accrues from working at a company for a long time. The recurring failure modes and proven fixes once known only to the most senior site reliability engineers can be baked into the platform.

Klaudia Memory wasn’t the only update announced today. The company also announced a new “Headless Klaudia” capability that makes its platform more accessible by allowing engineers to trigger investigations and interact with its AI from within third-party messaging tools. So instead of having to fire up the Klaudia interface each time they need help, they can hit it up on Slack and Microsoft Teams, where it lives as a team member, or in development environments such as VS Code, Claude Code and Cursor.

Komodor said this headless approach extends to the company’s existing version control and GitOps workflows. It also unveiled new application programming interface and mode context protocol integrations that enable Klaudia to be embedded into custom internal tools. Finally, Komodor said it’s continuing to expand its library of specialist agents to support workloads running outside of Kubernetes, including Amazon EC2 and ECS.
