Senate Republican on Trump claim AI threat is ‘hoax’: ‘Come on’

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) said Tuesday that President Trump is wrong to call the threat posed by artificial intelligence a "hoax," telling reporters at the Capitol, "Come on, it's not a hoax. It's a real thing." Tillis, who is not running for reelection, said AI is an issue he has spent much of his professional career on.
