Arm publishes FYE26 Sustainable Business Report

Arm published its FYE26 Sustainable Business Report, stating that the Arm AGI CPU delivers more than twice the performance per rack compared with x86 platforms. The report also says Arm maintained 100% renewable electricity sourcing across its direct global operations, that 96% of its people say they are proud to work for Arm, and that 2,879 employees volunteered during the year. CEO Rene Haas said in the report that the next era of AI will be shaped not only by greater performance but by how intelligently the industry scales.

Arm’s FYE26 Sustainable Business Report sets out our progress in helping shape a more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable future.

AI is driving unprecedented demand for compute, bringing enormous opportunity while placing increasing pressure on energy, infrastructure, and resources. Meeting that demand will require the industry to deliver significantly more computing capability while using resources more intelligently.

For Arm, this makes power efficiency more important than ever. As our CEO, Rene Haas, notes in the report, the next era of AI will be shaped not only by greater performance, but by how intelligently the industry scales.

Technology, people, and partnerships #

Our Sustainable Business Report reflects the Arm Impact Framework, focusing on the areas where we believe Arm can create long-term value through our technology, our people, and our global ecosystem of partners.

Highlights from FYE26 include:

  • Delivering more than twice the performance per rack with the Arm AGI CPU compared with x86 platforms .*

  • Maintaining 100% renewable electricity sourcing across our direct global operations.

  • 96% of our people say they are proud to work for Arm.

  • 2,879 of our people volunteered during the year.

  • Reaching more than 19 million people directly through social impact and innovation initiatives since 2015.

Together, these milestones reflect a broader ambition: to help AI scale efficiently and responsibly, while expanding access to the skills, technologies, and opportunities that enable more people to participate in innovation.

Scaling innovation for real-world impact #

Across health, education, and climate and nature, Arm works with partners to help promising innovations, including AI-enabled solutions, develop and scale for real-world impact.

In Ghana, Arm-enabled Simprints devices registered and monitored more than 550,000 people, helping verify that more than 58,000 children received at least one routine vaccination. It is one example of how applying technology in the right way can strengthen critical systems and help services reach more people.

Through our work with UNICEF, the Micro:bit Educational Foundation, and the Raspberry Pi Foundation, we are helping young people develop the digital skills and AI literacy needed to participate in an increasingly AI-powered world.

Our decade of impact with Micro:bit has now reached more than 70 million learners across more than 80 countries. Through AI in Play, the next phase of Arm and UNICEF’s decade-long partnership, we are also supporting the development and deployment of practical AI-based solutions for children and communities in emerging economies.

In climate and nature, Arm marked 10 years of partnership with WILDLABS this year. Through the WILDLABS Awards, we are supporting 16 conservation technology teams to develop promising innovations into practical solutions for nature, including new applications of AI to some of the world’s most pressing conservation challenges.

Looking ahead #

The opportunity presented by AI is extraordinary. Realizing it at global scale will require computing that is increasingly powerful, efficient, and trusted, alongside broader access to the skills and technologies that allow more people to participate in innovation.

Arm has an important role to play in that transition. Through our technology, people, and ecosystem, we will continue working to make every watt of compute go further, advance responsible innovation, and expand access to the opportunities of the AI era.
