ZoomInfo Launches Agent Teams Following DoubleO.ai Acquisition

ZoomInfo launched Agent Teams, an AI capability that orchestrates multi-step go-to-market workflows across sales and revenue operations, following its acquisition of AI orchestration company DoubleO.ai. Agent Teams is available through GTM Studio with no new SKU or contract required, and incorporates DoubleO.ai's orchestration architecture so specialized agents share context and evaluate account state at each step rather than following a fixed sequence. ZoomInfo did not disclose financial terms of the DoubleO.ai acquisition, which was founded by Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh.

ZoomInfo has launched Agent Teams, a new artificial intelligence capability designed to automate complex go-to-market workflows across sales and revenue operations, following its acquisition of AI orchestration company DoubleO.ai.

Agent Teams incorporates DoubleO.ai’s orchestration architecture into ZoomInfo’s GTM platform, allowing specialized AI agents to coordinate multi-step sales and marketing processes using company systems, real-time signals and ZoomInfo’s business intelligence. The product is available through GTM Studio without requiring customers to purchase a new SKU or contract.

The launch marks an early product integration from ZoomInfo’s acquisition of DoubleO.ai, which was founded by Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed in the announcement.

ZoomInfo is positioning Agent Teams as an alternative to AI assistants that automate individual tasks but still require employees to coordinate research, data enrichment, customer relationship management updates, sequencing and follow-up activities across separate systems.

Instead, Agent Teams assigns specialized agents distinct roles, instructions and tools while allowing them to share context throughout a workflow. The system evaluates the current state of an account as each step is completed and determines what action should follow, rather than relying exclusively on a predefined sequence.

“Revenue doesn’t follow a flowchart. Champions change jobs, deals stall, and buyers come back months later,” ZoomInfo founder and CEO Henry Schuck said. “Rigid workflow automation breaks the moment that happens. Agent Teams works from what’s actually true about an account right now, and keeps the GTM play moving when things change.”

One potential application involves tracking former customers or internal champions as they move to new companies. Agent Teams can evaluate whether a champion’s new employer matches a company’s ideal customer profile, determine whether it is already a customer, reconstruct the individual’s involvement in an earlier transaction and identify members of the new organization’s buying committee.

The platform can then generate outreach based on that context and resume the workflow when new signals emerge, such as the prospect subsequently visiting a pricing page.

Another use case begins after a deal closes. ZoomInfo said Agent Teams can analyze call transcripts, emails and CRM information to determine factors behind the purchase, draft a case study, identify similar companies that are not existing customers and create customized outreach for those prospects.

The approach reflects ZoomInfo’s broader effort to move AI deeper into day-to-day revenue operations rather than limiting it to standalone research or content-generation tools. The company sees orchestration across multiple systems as a key requirement for organizations attempting to deploy AI agents at scale.

“Most AI agents exchange outputs, not understanding, so the reasoning behind each step gets lost at every handoff,” said Dominik Facher, chief product officer at ZoomInfo. “Agent Teams runs on a real-time evaluation architecture where agents share context and build on each other’s work.”

Enterprise governance is another part of ZoomInfo’s positioning for the product. Agent Teams operates on the company’s existing data and security infrastructure, which includes privacy-rights management, SOC 2 controls and systems certified under ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.

ZoomInfo’s broader platform combines B2B data with automation and integrations used by sales, marketing and customer success organizations. The company says its data covers more than 100 million companies and 500 million contacts, along with billions of business signals.

It also operates GTM.AI, a headless context layer and API infrastructure designed to supply business intelligence to AI agents. ZoomInfo says that technology supports integrations with platforms including Salesforce Agentforce, HubSpot Breeze, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude and ChatGPT.

With DoubleO.ai’s technology now incorporated into Agent Teams, ZoomInfo is extending that strategy from providing data and context to coordinating actions across complete go-to-market workflows. The company is betting that as businesses increase their use of AI agents, the ability to maintain context and coordinate multiple systems will become increasingly important to deploying those agents beyond isolated experiments and into front-line revenue operations.
