What does Zenless Zone Zero version 3.0 offer?

To coincide with the Steam launch for Zenless Zone Zero (and the introduction of DLSS 4.5 with ray tracing), ZZZ season 3, also known as version 3.0, will be released later today after scheduled maintenance. Well, the launch date technically spills over into June 17 for the China-based developers, and most of the world, but those in the U.S. will be able to jump in on Tuesday night.
Since you may have seen mixed results regarding the actual release day, we’ve put together everything you need to know about the season 3 launch. The new “A Sleepwalker’s Confession” update will go live for all platforms at the same time, which covers PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, iOS, Android, and PC – now including Steam after nearly two years away from the storefront.

When will ZZZ season 3 (version 3.0) release today?
Zenless Zone Zero version 3.0 arrives on June 16 at 11 PM Eastern Time. As such, the release time crosses over into June 17 for most regions. Developers miHoYo (HoYoverse internationally) will kick off its lengthy maintenance period at 6 PM Eastern Time, meaning there will be five hours of downtime before ZZZ returns with the season 3 update.

What does Zenless Zone Zero version 3.0 offer?

Along with its introduction to Steam, ZZZ season 3 introduces a new playable area for players to explore. The sky city of Roscaelifer has already been revealed and looks to make good use of the new ray tracing support in an Nvidia comparison, along with Phaethon combat avatar Pyrois, a free unlockable, and a new free endgame mode.
Two new S-Rank Agents (Velina and Norma) will be paid additions, debuting in Phase 1 and Phase 2, respectively. Overall, there’s plenty of new content to get stuck into if you’re looking to return to ZZZ with season 3, or just looking to jump in for the very first time now that it’s available on Steam – it was only previously available on HoYoPlay and the Epic Games Store.
