Unsurprisingly, GTA 6 pre-orders have been raking in the cash for Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, reportedly generating over $3 billion in revenue, months before release. That’s without ever having to release a gameplay trailer – only two cinematic trailers have been released so far. However, we seem to have been given our first glimpse at new features in GTA 6.
Brazilian retailer KaBuM! dropped some details in its pre-sale listing. Reportedly, NPCs (non-playable characters) demonstrate “hyper-realistic” behavior with individual routines based on advanced AI, while in-game social networks work in real-time, acting as another platform for players to discover “secret side missions”. Even so, there’s apparently no generative AI in the game.

It’s interesting to think that there’s so much we still don’t know about Grand Theft Auto VI. There have been a couple of cinematic trailers and plenty of screenshots for fans to delve into and theorize about, but no actual gameplay. Rockstar simply doesn’t need to spoil anything when it’s the most anticipated game ever – Take-Two’s CEO even admitted GTA 6 is not a hard sell.
