Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the N90 Max, an extended-range SUV under its Pengcheng vehicle line, at RMB299,900. The company said the model will be formally released in September.
The N90 Max combines Xiaomi’s HAD assisted-driving system and XLA cognitive model with Nvidia’s Thor automotive computing platform. It also includes a rear solid-state lidar, while Xiaomi lists a CLTC combined range of 1,705 kilometers and up to 285 kilometers of additional range from 15 minutes of energy replenishment.
The model connects Xiaomi’s automotive business with the company’s broader software, AI and connected-device ecosystem as it expands its vehicle lineup beyond its existing models. [IT Home, in Chinese]
