Wix launches Symphony, a new standalone multi-agent system built for business operations
Cloud-based website builder Wix Ltd. today announced the launch of Symphony, a new standalone agentic artificial intelligence platform that proactively learns business values, interests, needs, practices and goals to automate workflows and surface opportunities.
The company said it can draw on its deep experience working with unique data accumulated through years of working with hundreds of millions of small and medium-sized businesses worldwide. Its new platform translates that knowledge into industry-specific best practices and operational understanding.
It’s like having a coordinated team of intelligent teammates at your beck and call, the company explained. The AI agents each specialize by learning the business processes and goals, as every industry – retail, insurance, online retail and consulting — depends on different operational needs. At the center is Maestro, the orchestrator, which directs the entire affair, identifies what needs attention and coordinates specialized agents per activity.
“We built Symphony to be the go-to AI agent orchestrator for [small and medium businesses],” said Chief Operating Officer Ronny Elkayam. “It is purpose-built for how small businesses operate, combining Wix’s two decades of SMB expertise with a coordinated multi-agent system that can learn how a business works, take action and help owners grow.”
To double down on the business team metaphor, Wix said the agentic team does a stand-up meeting every morning to summarize completed work, surface what needs attention and highlight new opportunities. The platform also includes accuracy-checking agents that double-check and validate work before it is presented to the owner, helping support trust in outputs.
The company said Symphony represents a pivot toward expanding beyond helping companies build an online presence and reaching into the operational layer. It provides the institutional infrastructure for managing, automating and growing business using AI agents.
Business management and development teams can access it wherever they do work, across devices, communication channels, voice interfaces, chat apps and AI platforms.
This pivot has been strengthened by the company’s acquisition of Base44 Inc. in June 2025. In the acquisition, Wix integrated the no-code AI builder platform’s capability to build fully functional, production-ready web applications into its platform. The company also launched its own proprietary model, Base 1, in June this year, reducing dependence on third-party inference and providing a robust, customized experience.
