Thieves pilfer environment variables from Trigger AI workflow tool

Thieves stole environment variables from Trigger.dev, the AI workflow tool, according to The Register. The report gives no figure for how many variables were taken, which customers were affected, or when the theft occurred, and does not name the attackers. Environment variables commonly hold API keys and credentials, so their theft from an AI workflow platform can expose the secrets used to run automated pipelines.
