Don’t answer too quickly.
A year ago, I would have said, “Architecture.”
Six months ago, I would have said, “Debugging.”
Today, I’m not sure either answer is enough.
I wasn’t thinking about any of this on the Friday afternoon when Omar walked into my office.
He knocked once.
Waited.
Then smiled the same quiet smile he always had.
“Do you have five minutes?”
I looked at the clock.
“I’ve got twenty.”
He nodded.
“I won’t need that long.”
