The Genie One mobile app turns a natural-language question into a trusted answer in seconds. It draws on Genie Ontology, Genie’s self-improving automatic context layer, and further curated, domain-specific logic from Genie Agents to produce results grounded in your company data and enterprise governance. Built-in connectors to external business tools like Google Drive, Microsoft 365, and Atlassian ensure that those answers are grounded in your business truth no matter where your data lives, with source permissions respected every step of the way.
For leaders, that means checking a KPI or asking a quick "why did this change?" can happen instantly * and *on-the-go—no analyst queue needed. For business users, it means self-serve answers and insights in plain language everywhere they work, without needing to know where the data lives or how it's modeled. Because finding the answer is typically only the start, the Genie One mobile app has the same agentic capabilities you’d expect from an AI coworker. Users can chat with Genie using the same core conversational capabilities available on the web, including support for skills and MCP. They can also view dashboards, access Databricks Apps, and get answers and insights wherever they are. For users who need to explore and interact with data on-the-go, AI/BI Dashboards are mobile-ready automatically, meaning it’s easier than ever to explore. In portrait mode, widgets reflow into a single-column layout to simplify the experience on a small screen. We use row-major ordering, so the widgets you place toward the top and left appear first. In landscape we preserve your existing layout exactly as designed. Like all Genie products, the Genie One mobile app is designed with enterprise governance and security at the foundation. Permissions are enforced by default on every answer through source-native ACLs or Unity Catalog, meaning that users get answers grounded in the enterprise data they have access to—and nothing they don’t.
Users sign in through your identity provider with the same OAuth flow as the browser and see only the workspaces where they have at least Consumer access. Existing MFA, conditional-access, and device-posture policies carry over automatically. There is no separate mobile backend and no mobile-only endpoints: the app talks to the same workspace and account URLs as a browser over HTTPS, so your existing network controls, including IP access lists, Private Link, and VPN, apply exactly as they do on the web. Compliance security profile workspaces are supported, and data stays in-region exactly as it does on the web.
This is just the start for the Genie One mobile app. We are already developing the capabilities our customers have asked for most, including dark mode, push notifications for scheduled tasks and automated insights, voice mode for chat, and account-level access to Genie One on mobile. As more and more business users rely on Genie One for grounded insights and agentic action everywhere they work, the Genie One mobile app will continue to evolve as the true AI coworker that’s always in their pocket.
