Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour are burying the hatchet on their long-rumored feud they embark on a new father-daughter spy series for Netflix.

Harbour will star as a disgraced ex-FBI agent-turned-security expert named Matt Wolfe who returns to the field when his estranged daughter Rebecca, who also works for the law enforcement agency – and is played by Brown - vanishes on a mission, per Variety.

The news comes months after the Daily Mail revealed that Brown had filed a 'harassment and bullying' complaint against her Stranger Things co-star before they were about to film the show's fifth and final season.

According to the November 2025 report, sources claimed there were 'pages and pages of accusations' in regards to the actor's attitude.

In December, Brown and Harbour skipped the Stranger Things: Final Season Celebration event in New York City after putting on a united front at the season five premiere just weeks earlier.

They served as leading stars in the sci-fi horror drama. Filming spanned a decade with their characters, Eleven and Jim Hopper, central to the overall plot.

Eleven was the super-powered, telekinetic teenager and Hopper the gruff but beloved police chief who acts as Eleven's surrogate father.

Harbour admitted to tension in an interview with Variety this month but said it was a 'simple rupture-and-repair thing.'

'It's a show that went on for 10 years,' he told the outlet. 'We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don't know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years – you occasionally get in arguments, disagreements.

'In families, it's OK because you're just in a disagreement and then you come back together. The problem with a billion-dollar show is that there's just hundreds of people who want to get involved.

'It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine,' he added.

Brown expressed her own side, telling the outlet in an email: 'Obviously I changed so much from season one to season five, and David was there through all of it. Over time, our relationship became much more collaborative creatively.

'When you work with someone for that many years, we could really push each other emotionally in scenes. Even though the series has ended, there's still a lot of gratitude. Getting to share that experience with him for so many years is something I'll always remember and value.'

While no filming date or release date is set, Netflix is clearly enthusiastic about the show that comes from creator Jack Thorne. The actress' husband, Jake Bongiovi, seen with her at the Enola Holmes 3 premiere on June 25, will serve as executive producer on the new Netflix show alongside his wife

Thorne is the brain behind Netflix's award-winning Adolescence and Lord of the Flies and writer of the streamer's Enola Holmes movies, which also star Brown.

'We are delighted to bring this spy drama to life with an extraordinary group of talent we've been fortunate to collaborate with before,' Jinny Howe, who is Netflix's head of scripted series in the US and Canada, said in a statement to Variety.

'Jack Thorne's ability to find the deeply human story inside a thriller is unmatched, and watching Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite – this time as estranged father and daughter on opposite sides of a crisis – is something audiences are going to love.'

Brown will serve as executive producer on the show, along with Harbour and actress' husband, Jake Bongiovi, with whom she welcomed a baby girl through adoption last summer.

Brown will next be seen in Enola Holmes 3, which is set to premiere on Netflix on July 1.
