Regal ties its voice AI agents into Five9’s contact center platform

Regal Voice Inc. today unveiled an integration with Five9 Inc. that makes its autonomous AI voice agents available to Five9's contact center customers, enabling automated follow-up texts or calls triggered by Five9 call events and feeding call records back into Regal. Regal co-founder and CEO Alex Levin said the pitch targets enterprise contact centers in regulated industries, with agents designed to 'integrate into existing workflows.' Regal ties its voice AI agents into Five9’s contact center platform

Enterprise voice artificial intelligence company Regal Voice Inc. today unveiled an integration with Five9 Inc. that makes its autonomous AI voice agents available to customers of the contact center software provider.

Five9 lists the agents in its AI Agent Connect program, a distribution channel for third-party AI vendors.

A Five9 call event can now trigger a follow-up from Regal, either a text message or an outbound call placed by an AI agent. Nothing has to be queued by hand. Data runs the other way too. Five9 feeds call records into Regal as calls complete, including the campaign behind each one, how long it lasted and how it ended.

The record also shows which agent took the call. Whoever handles the next contact, human or AI, starts with that history.

There’s a lead routing angle as well. Regal scores contacts for intent through its journey orchestration software, and anything it marks as high intent can go straight into a Five9 outbound campaign without anyone touching it.

Regal co-founder and Chief Executive Alex Levin said the pitch is aimed at enterprise contact centers, particularly those in regulated industries, and that the agents are designed to “integrate into existing workflows.”

Regal started up in New York in 2020. Healthcare, insurance and education are among the industries it sells into, where what a call center rep can say is often tightly scripted. The agents work inbound and outbound calls across sales, support and operations. The company puts its customer base above 200 enterprises. Signals and data from more than 500 million calls feed the software. Regal claims a 99.5% resolution rate without human handoff.

Regal has raised $83 million to date, most recently $40 million in October 2024.

The integration lands as Five9 pushes its platform toward agentic software. Five9 sells to more than 3,500 enterprises in more than 140 countries and has been cloud-based since it launched in 2001. Genius AI is its in-house AI layer.

Five9 reported its most recent quarter on April 30, and the stock rose about 18% on the results. Subscription revenue growth picked up for a second quarter running. The company also raised its full-year outlook.
