China’s President Xi Jinping outlined China’s vision for AI in the world. That vision touts a “more open attitude” and a “symphony of international cooperation,” presumably a reference to the United States’ differing approach under the Trump Administration, as reported by CNBC.
Meanwhile, “29 countries signed an agreement in Shanghai to establish the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization, or WAICO, which will be headquartered in [Shanghai].”
