Nvidia secures $500B financing program with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR

Nvidia announced partnerships with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR to establish compute financing platforms, aiming to mobilize more than $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure projects. The platforms will fund AI infrastructure build-outs across Nvidia's ecosystem, including frontier AI labs, enterprises, and AI clouds, subject to final agreements. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the financing platforms will help customers access scarce compute at scale and build AI factories.

Nvidia has formed new partnerships to secure more third-party funding for AI infrastructure projects.

The chip giant this week announced strategic partnerships to establish independent compute financing platforms with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR.

Nvidia said it hopes to mobilize more than $500 billion of third-party capital for the build-out of AI infrastructure over time, creating “dedicated pools of capital at significant scale at attractive rates for Nvidia customers.”

Nvidia has signed Memorandums of Understanding with the financial institutions to create the partnerships, and aims to “establish the first compute financing platforms of their kind at global scale.”

The funds will enable AI infrastructure build-outs across Nvidia’s ecosystem, including frontier AI labs, enterprises, and AI clouds. The partnerships, however, remain subject to execution of the final agreements.

“Nvidia has reached an important milestone. We began by building chips; today, we are helping create a new class of productive, investable infrastructure: AI factories,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “These financing platforms will help customers access scarce compute at scale and build the DSX AI factories that will power every industry and country in the age of AI.”

Apollo president Jim Zelter added: “The combination of Nvidia’s proprietary technology ecosystem and Apollo’s flexible, long-term capital base provides a strong foundation to support the next stage of the AI buildout as part of the broader Global Industrial Renaissance.”
