Meta Platforms is expanding its Muse AI agent with tools to help small businesses manage daily tasks and find customers.
The new offering, called Muse for Small Business, lets owners assign the agent goals and connect the apps they already use. Meta said Muse can then carry out tasks across those services on a business’s behalf.
Supported connections include Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Intuit QuickBooks, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom. Businesses can also connect their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The small-business launch follows Meta’s disclosure Monday of plans for a separate enterprise platform. That effort will include a Muse agent, a business agent and a coding tool, with MongoDB CEO CJ Desai tapped to lead it.
Meta introduced Muse as a personal AI agent on Sept. 8. Its shares rose about 25% in September as the company broadened its AI push from consumers to businesses.
