The 63-year-old, who has led Nvidia for over three decades, has held off on naming a successor to take the reins of his US$5.25 trillion business – a move raising eyebrows among Silicon Valley investors.
Though Huang has not outlined a succession plan, his eldest daughter Madison Huang, who serves as a senior executive at Nvidia, has been making more public appearances with her father. Most recently, she was seen at the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijing on August 19.

What did Madison Huang study?
Before joining her father’s company, Madison was en route to working in hospitality as a chef, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Madison graduated from The Culinary Institute of America with a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts in 2012. She then moved to Paris to earn her diplôme de pâtisserie (pastry diploma) from Le Cordon Bleu in 2013. She also studied wine management and hospitality at the famous culinary school’s London branch from 2014 to 2015.
