Cloud file streamer LucidLink is extending its media workflow capabilities and developer tools, while developing centralized managed service provider facilities.

LucidLink Connect brings existing media into a shared production workflow. Teams can access and edit files from S3, Dropbox, Frame.io and other connected sources directly through LucidLink today. Connect is expanding with a new management UI and edit capabilities.
A new offering, Connect Publish, is coming soon and will let teams choose when finished work is committed back to its connected source for the applications and production pipelines that use it, without another copy, export or transfer.

Content stays where it’s already stored, teams can work with it directly and IT avoids another migration project every time content needs to become part of a workflow. LucidLink Developer Tools help organizations automate repeatable tasks, integrate LucidLink into their production systems and bring AI assistance into file workflows, freeing teams to spend more time on creative work. The included Python SDK gives developers programmatic access to LucidLink files directly in Python, while the MCP Server gives AI agents a standards-based way to interact with LucidLink through the same supported developer foundation.
Developers can use the SDK in scripts, servers, containers, cloud environments and automation pipelines, while the MCP Server extends the same foundation to AI-assisted and agentic workflows. LucidLink says they create a supported path for turning repeatable media tasks into software — from project setup and file operations to internal tools, orchestration and emerging agent-driven workflows — without relying on a desktop-mounted filespace.
Python SDK and MCP Server are moving to general availability together later this month.

LucidLink MSP gives specialist service providers a scalable way to operate and support LucidLink across their customer base, helping more media organizations adopt shared file workflows with ongoing expert support.
This managed service provider program gives partners a centralized way to provision, manage and bill LucidLink across multiple customer environments. A bring-your-own-storage model fits the infrastructure their customers already operate. Centralized operations help partners scale their services across a broader customer base. The program builds on the LucidLink Management Platform (LMP) introduced earlier this year.
Partners remain the customer of record and own the end-customer contract, billing and tier-1 relationship, while LucidLink provides the platform, enablement and tier-2/3 support behind them. The program is designed for service providers supporting media and post-production, live sports, AEC and enterprise teams that need high-performance shared file workflows without sync-and-copy overhead.
LucidLink will be at IBC 2026,which is taking place at RAI Amsterdam from September 11 - 14, Stand 7.C18 with live demonstrations of LucidLink Filespace, Connect, TeamCache, Web & Mobile and Developer Tools.
