Manus has launched Manus 2.0 on web, desktop, and mobile, introducing a new agent architecture, always-on infrastructure, a rebuilt desktop workspace, and Cue, a separate app for personal agents. Cascade, its latest in-house agent harness, loads specialist capabilities only when needed while keeping briefs, pages, videos, and automations in one project. Manus says one test used 23.2% fewer tokens, finished tasks 28.2% faster, and cost 32% less than its previous system.
Cloud Computer adds a purchasable dedicated environment for projects that must remain online, including multiplayer games and permanent automations. Workflows can now start from events in connected services, including email, ad-performance changes, calendar events, Slack messages, or Notion updates. Users describe the trigger and task in one prompt.
The desktop app becomes Manus Studio, a shared workspace for people and AI across documents, websites, code, games, and video. Its Video Editor exposes clips, images, text, motion graphics, and audio on an editable timeline, letting users make changes before asking Manus to continue. Alchemy mode combines video and code generation under a user's creative direction. Manus targets short ads, AI UGC, tutorials, vlogs, and motion graphics.
Game Dev combines video, image, and coding models, including Max Ultra mode. Users can start from playable templates, manage assets and code in an Edit panel, then publish games as playable websites. Multiplayer projects use a purchased Cloud Computer, with Manus handling hosting and networking.
Remote Control and Computer Use let users direct Manus from a phone while watching a live desktop view. In an authorized session, it can work with approved files, browsers, and apps to send a deck, test an app, or continue work while the user is away. The release brings Manus's agent system, creative tools, hosting, automation, and device control into one platform.
Cue extends that infrastructure to personal agents on phone and desktop. Each agent receives an email, phone number, wallet, and computer, allowing it to manage messages, calls, and payments within a user-set budget before presenting summaries. Multiple agents can coordinate in a group chat, with other examples including QR-code restaurant orders and holding a place in line. Cue is in limited free early access on web, desktop, and mobile through invite code MEETCUE. iOS access will follow App Store review, and admitted users receive additional codes.
