If you’re short on time, here’s a quick run-through of what makes this monitor special. First off, it’s 5K2K resolution and actually the world’s largest of its kind. This offers serious immersion when gaming, especially when combined with its steep 1000R curvature and loads of space for multiple windows. For video editing, in particular, it’s a pretty incredible display, albeit overkill for most people, to say the least.
In terms of picture quality, it’s impressive, too, and has earned a VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification thanks to its 4000:1 contrast ratio, 95% DCI-P3 color, and high peak brightness. Gaming performance is also impressive, offering up 240Hz for fast-paced, high fps gaming with low motion blur, further bolstered by its FreeSync Premium adaptive sync technology.

I’d say it’s a very good time to go for it; however, personally, I think it may stay at this price during Prime Day, even with the timing ticking down. Since it spends most of its time at full price, which is closer to $2,000, it may not be worth risking waiting for Prime Day if you’re keen on it, though.
