Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3 is entering OpenAI’s enterprise Codex channel through US inference provider Baseten. Enterprise customers can count use of the Chinese model against their existing OpenAI spending commitments. Sina Finance described this as the first time a Chinese open model has entered OpenAI’s enterprise billing system.
The arrangement lets customers use Kimi K3 within an existing procurement agreement, without adding a separate supplier contract. Baseten provides the model inference, while Codex provides the developer interface. [Sina Finance, in Chinese]
