Why it matters #
Judgment is selling a workflow for turning agent traces into detected issues, monitoring rules and tests. Its launch puts that approach against established evaluation and observability tools; the $32M backing gives the team room to pursue the category, while customer-scale and performance evidence remain company-reported.
Judgment Labs opened its agent-monitoring and improvement platform to general access on October 27th, betting that production traces from long-running AI agents can help teams find recurring failures before customers do. Co-founder and CEO Alex Shan (@alexshander03) said early customers were relying on manual review and learning about some problems from users.
