Why it matters #
DesignArena is extending human-preference testing from static designs to short films built with code. Whether the format can produce useful, repeatable rankings depends on more than matching resolution and loudness: viewers must also judge motion, timing and sound consistently.
DesignArena, the AI evaluation startup founded by Grace Li (@grx_xce) and Kamryn Ohly (@kamrynohly), introduced a contest in which models make short films by writing webpage code. In an October 27th post on X, DesignArena said users can give two models the same prompt and compare their finished clips.
