Alongside the marketplace listing, THG has become an IBM Silver Partner and signed an Embedded Solution Agreement covering IBM Cloud and AI technology.
The Hashgraph Group (THG), a Hedera-focused technology, venture-building and investment company, has signed a global partnership with IBM to bring its IDTrust identity platform to the IBM Cloud Catalog, the company said Wednesday.
The IBM Cloud Catalog is an enterprise cloud marketplace that gives IBM customers access to a wide range of IBM and third-party products, including AI, data, security, compute, networking, developer tools and deployable cloud architectures.
The listing gives IDTrust a distribution channel within IBM Cloud, allowing IBM customers to discover the product alongside other enterprise cloud services and solutions. For THG, this can make the Hedera-based solution easier for businesses to evaluate and potentially adopt, especially those already operating within the IBM Cloud ecosystem.

IBM has recognized the enterprise potential of web3 solutions, and THG’s work building agent-redy identity infrastructure on Hedera made this a natural fit,” Naemi Benz, Vice President IBM Partner Ecosystem DACH, commented on the partnership.
THG said IDTrust is the first commercial Hedera-based enterprise application listed on a major cloud marketplace.

“Enterprises are deploying AI agents at scale that can negotiate contracts, process sensitive data, and execute financial transactions autonomously. The question everyone is now asking and worried about is: how do I know this agent is authorised to act on my behalf? We have solved that problem with our IDTrust solution,” Stefan Deiss, co-founder and CEO of THG, stated.
According to the company, IDTrust uses decentralized identifiers and verifiable credentials to give AI agents, devices and humans verifiable identities and permissions. The platform also includes MCP servers for AI agents connected to IBM watsonx Orchestrate, while credentials are anchored on Hedera to provide auditable records of agent identities and actions.
The deal also gives THG IBM Silver Partner status and access to IBM technology through a global Embedded Solution Agreement.
THG said the partnership comes as “Know Your Agent” becomes a growing enterprise requirement for organizations seeking to verify that autonomous AI systems are authorized to perform specific actions.
