ChatGPT is rolling out a new sticker-making feature that allows users to create personalised sticker packs from photos, ideas, favourite characters and even private jokes. Powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0, the feature is available globally to free users on the mobile app. Users can describe the type of stickers they want, customise their appearance and then download the creations or share them directly through iMessage and WhatsApp.
Describe the Sticker Pack You Want #
ChatGPT’s new feature lets users turn personal ideas, people, pets and funny moments into custom sticker packs. Instead of creating each sticker manually, users can simply describe the theme or scenario they have in mind, and ChatGPT Images will generate a collection based on the prompt. The feature is powered by ChatGPT Images 2.0 and is available globally to free users on the ChatGPT mobile app.
Select "Images" in the sidebar and then "Stickers" to get started.

How to Create Custom Stickers in ChatGPT #
The process is straightforward:
- Open ChatGPT on your mobile device.
- Select “Images” from the sidebar.
- Choose “Stickers” to access the sticker creation feature.
- Describe the sticker pack you want ChatGPT to generate.
- Ask for stickers based on pets, friends, family members, reactions or inside jokes.
- Choose from up to 18 visual styles, including Holographic, Anime and 3D.
- Remix the stickers with emojis and customise their appearance.
- Create up to nine stickers in a single pack.
- Download the finished stickers or share them directly through iMessage or WhatsApp.
Turn Inside Jokes Into Personalised Stickers #
The feature can be used for much more than generic reactions. Users can create packs based on a pet's everyday expressions, a friend's favourite food or a child's funniest faces. Prompts could include a dog reacting to Monday mornings, tiny samosas cheering someone on, or a bride-to-be reacting to Bollywood dialogues. ChatGPT Images also supports transparent backgrounds, helping the creations work more naturally as stickers in conversations.
Stickers Can Be Shared Directly in Chats #
Once generated, the sticker packs can be downloaded or sent directly through iMessage and WhatsApp, making them easy to use in everyday conversations. The update is part of OpenAI's broader effort to make AI image generation more practical for casual communication, allowing users to turn personal memories, jokes and reactions into shareable stickers. Separately, OpenAI recently introduced an Apple Messages plugin for the ChatGPT macOS app, allowing users with Apple Silicon Macs to search, analyse and draft messages from their stored conversations.
