Special Report: FortifAI has recruited enterprise product executive Priya Shivakumar to the advisory board of NOL8 in a move aimed at guiding the subsidiary through its upcoming commercial rollout.
The appointment brings extensive product and go-to-market leadership to NOL8 as Fortifai (ASX:FTI) moves toward full market entry with its artificial intelligence data plane platform.
NOL8 CEO Kelly Herrel said Shivakumar had spent her career turning ambitious data and AI technology into enterprise products that dominated their markets globally.
“Her perspectives will be invaluable for strategic guidance toward NOL8’s product roadmap toward category leadership in advance of our commercial launch,” she said.
Proven enterprise track record
Shivakumar currently serves as chief product officer at Archetype AI, leading product strategy and commercialisation for its physical AI platform and Newton foundation model.
She previously served as chief product officer at Lightning AI, where she led the launch of Lightning Studio, scaling the platform to more than 300,000 users and establishing its enterprise business.
Earlier in her career, she helped build Confluent Cloud from its earliest stages, shaping its product, pricing and go-to-market strategy.
Shivakumar scaled the business to approximately $30 million in annual recurring revenue and spearheaded an initiative that lifted gross margins from single digits to over 70% ahead of Confluent’s 2021 IPO.
As an advisory board member, Shivakumar will advise the executive team on customer engagement, market trends and product strategy alignment.
Shivakumar said infrastructure problems weren’t solved by better demos, but by systems that could run continuously, reliably, in production under real operational constraints.
“That’s the same bar I’ve held product organisations to throughout my career, and it’s particularly important as enterprises move AI into production,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to helping NOL8 translate its technology into something enterprises can depend on at scale.”
NOL8 delivers an AI Data Plane designed to govern and deliver data to AI agents at wire speed, helping operators recover idle GPU capacity and boost effective utilisation.
The cloud-based platform is designed to provide consistent performance even at scale with only milliseconds of latency.
