Teams is where many enterprise requests, incidents, and approvals already surface, so putting Droid there lowers the friction of trying delegated coding work. The launch also tests Factory's enterprise controls: shared service-account identity, repository access, threaded visibility, and human review determine whether channel-based agents become trusted teammates or just faster ways to create pull requests.
Factory co-founder and CEO Matan Grinberg is bringing Droid into Microsoft Teams. On November 6th, 2026, Factory announced that a teammate can mention Factory in a channel post, name the repository and the outcome they want, say how the result should be checked, and let Droid run the work in the thread.
