Donald Trump Calls Google Boss Sundar Pichai 'A Monster' After Super Intelligence Summit [WATCH]

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday telling federal agencies to stop saying "artificial intelligence" and use "Super Intelligence" instead. [duly noted shri shri Trump] The directive covers official correspondence, websites, reports, and policy documents but has no mandate on statutory materials. The mandate came after a White House summit with the heads of the biggest AI companies. In his statement, Trump argued the old name undersells what the technology is becoming.

Who Attended The Summit? #

Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Dario Amodei, Sundar Pichai, Jensen Huang, and Greg Brockman attended the summit.

The executives also signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence. Trump called it "morally binding" and likened it to a "constitution." House Speaker Mike Johnson said it is voluntary, and Trump said the industry will police itself. It, however, cannot be enforced in court. The text lays out four layers of controls and audits, including an independent external auditor.

Sundar Pichai Is A Monster: Trump #

During the presser after the meet, Trump hilarously singled out Google CEO Sundar Pichai. "This guy is a monster, and nobody knows him," he said. "What a great life! To be a Monster and not have to go through this." He further quipped, "Sundar is his name," as Pichai chuckled.

As I shared today, Google has invested hundreds of billions in the last two years alone, with more to come, across the entire stack, to deliver benefits for America and the world. We’re working to build products that deliver real value for people and businesses, invest in local communities, and build trust in the technology.

He added,

Industry also has to innovate responsibly. Google focused on building the right way, with appropriate testing, evaluations, red-teaming, and other safeguards against misuse and misalignment—and releasing models or products only after they’ve been thoroughly reviewed.
