CoinFello launches Fello 2: AI agent that automates DeFi strategies from plain language

CoinFello launched Fello 2, an AI agent that automates DeFi strategies from plain-language prompts, replacing manual execution with a single prompt. The upgrade includes a rewards program that returns 100 percent of eligible swap fees to users and their referrals during a limited launch period, paid in MON. Fello 2 executes strategies across EVM-compatible networks, supports monitoring-only mode, and uses a delegation model that never holds user keys.

CoinFello announced Fello 2, a major upgrade to its AI agent that lets users describe decentralized finance (DeFi) strategies in plain language… and Fello 2 builds, runs, and automates them.

The upgrade replaces manual execution with a single prompt. A new rewards program returns 100 percent of eligible swap fees to users and their referrals during a limited launch period, paid in MON.

“The 3 am portfolio rebalancing, the weekly Liquidity Provider (LP) rewards claim, and the panic loan top-up can all be handled by Fello 2 with a single prompt.”

How Fello 2 works

Fello 2 reads complex prompts and executes strategies across Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible networks. For example, a user can write:

“Every Friday, move some idle USDC into the best stablecoin pool. But if any position gets within 15 percent of liquidation, add margin first, then tell me what you did.”

Then, Fello reads every condition, runs the steps in order, and reports back. Users can start with monitoring only (Fello alerts on positions without moving funds) before enabling automated transactions through an Automation Wallet set up via Privy integration.

The agent declines blind-signing requests, approval-phishing attempts, and transactions built to drain wallets, and it will not take broader permissions than a user grants. Fello never holds a user’s keys; it works through a delegation model where permissions can be revoked at any time.

The Rewards Program

CoinFello’s new Rewards Program pays users a share of swap fees on every eligible swap, paid in MON. Users also earn a share of the fees generated by anyone they refer, for as long as that person keeps swapping.

Moreover, during the limited launch period, CoinFello returns 100 percent of eligible swap fees to users and their referrers. Rewards are itemized on a Rewards dashboard and can be claimed to a wallet the user controls.

To this point, the company plans to let users deposit claimed rewards into a self-custodial account managed by Fello to compound earnings, though that feature is still under development.

The evolution from Fello 0 to Fello 2

The launch of Fello 2 caps a rapid development cycle for CoinFello. The company first debuted its AI agent concept at ETHDenver in February 2026 through BuffiBot, a voice and text assistant for conference information.

By June, CoinFello had released Fello 1, a general-purpose DeFi AI agent that allowed users to open LP positions on Uniswap V2, V3, and V4 and execute multi-step transactions without protocol-specific interfaces.

Fello 1 used MetaMask Smart Accounts standards, like ERC-7710 and ERC-7715, for delegation. This meant it could do its thing while keeping everything self-custodial, so you always stayed in control of your own keys.

Fello 2 takes things even further, adding full strategy automation, backtesting, and a new rewards program. Plus, it’s safer than ever, the team claims. It can now “transact with judgment” and automatically reject risky blind-signing requests.

The MON rewards program, launched in partnership with Monad, marks CoinFello’s first token incentive structure, and the referral mechanics create a viral growth loop.

For a project that started as a conference assistant, the evolution to a fully automated DeFi agent in six months shows the pace of AI-agent development in crypto.
