Changelog
Hi Everyone!
It's been a really busy few days, with a ton of traffic and amazing feedback - here's everything that shipped so far — the big new feature, the smaller stuff, and the many bugs we squashed. Lots of exciting stuff!
New #
Visual routing editor. Build custom Ghost URLs — blog sections, custom pages, tag/author archive patterns — from a plain-language form, with a live preview that actually renders your routes before you ship them. No YAML required. Keep an eye out for the explainer email. 😄
Improved #
AI turns are noticeably faster and less of a black box. The agent now makes surgical edits to existing files instead of rewriting them wholesale, turns for different users no longer queue behind each other, and you'll see live status ("thinking…", "writing theme files…") plus an incrementally updating preview.Default Tailwind theme improvements: a proper author-archive page, a shared post grid used consistently across the theme, and pages/fonts that now correctly follow your Ghost settings instead of being hardcoded.More reliable theme builds— a batch of behind-the-scenes reliability work means builds are much less likely to fail for infrastructure reasons unrelated to your theme.
Fixed #
Stale content after disconnecting a Ghost site. Removing a connected site could leave its old content showing in an already-open theme editor. Fixed — it now clears immediately.Dropped connections and unexplained long waits during big AI writes. Long file-writing turns could look frozen and occasionally show a spurious "connection lost" error. Fixed with a proper status label and a stable connection during those stretches. I identified users affected and you'll be credited accordingly.Uploaded/prebuilt themes wrongly flagged as "failed." Themes uploaded with pre-built assets (but no build source) were incorrectly auto-rebuilt and shown as broken, even though they worked fine. They now show an honest "using shipped assets" status.Occasional stalls affecting everyone's AI turns when a turn included large image attachments. Fixed at the source — it no longer affects other users' turns in progress.
