Due out for release later this year - Burn-9 is an intriguing looking political spy thriller that's basically a reverse Metal Gear. The inspiration is clear, with the press release even mentioning it was made in the spirit of classics from Hideo Kojima and Tom Clancy.
More about it: "Your instructions are simple, but by no means easy: guide the last survivor of an elite black-ops team in a desperate attempt to salvage a top-secret mission gone horribly wrong. As the conduit between the military’s leadership and your elite agent, every piece of intel you obtain marks a crucial decision. What will you choose to share? Which secrets are best kept hidden? Who can you truly trust?
Your field agent, Dodo, will face impossible odds and danger in every corner. Be her eyes in the sky by tapping into cutting-edge surveillance and intelligence systems to detect threats and guide her through hostile encounters in real time. One missed detail can spell disaster, so stay sharp. From where you’re sitting, information is your greatest asset."

A demo was put up during Steam Next Fest which is still live now - looks like a great one to give a go. Love the idea of it and it has a great style, with some good music to fit too.
It might have Native Linux support at release, at least there's system requirements for it but there's only a Windows demo.
