The Claudeforce partnership gives sales teams native CRM access inside Claude, with pilot customers like GitLab and Siemens already deploying the system.
Anthropic just turned Claude into a sales rep’s best friend. The AI company launched “Salesforce in Claude” in beta on September 15, bringing 37 prebuilt sales-workflow skills directly into its AI assistant for users with existing CRM permissions.
The integration lets sales teams pull up Salesforce data, accounts, and opportunities without leaving Claude.
What the integration actually does #
The 37 prebuilt skills cover the bread and butter of daily sales work: account research, call preparation, pipeline reviews, and CRM updates. Rather than toggling between Claude and Salesforce to get context on a prospect, users can now ask Claude to aggregate data from multiple sources and surface what matters before a call.
The integration runs on Salesforce’s Headless 360 architecture and Model Context Protocol (MCP), which means Claude can tap into Salesforce data securely without requiring custom integrations on the customer’s end. For updates to the CRM itself, users still need to approve changes via AgentExchange.
Paid subscribers access the Claude plugin through admin-enabled connectors. The system maintains existing Salesforce permissions throughout, and Anthropic has been clear that customer data flowing through the integration won’t be used for model training.

Pilot customers including GitLab, Siemens, and Legora have already deployed the system. Thousands of Salesforce’s own sellers have been using it internally.
The Claudeforce partnership in context #
This beta launch follows the broader Claudeforce partnership announced on August 26. That deal positioned Claude as the default reasoning model across several Salesforce platforms, including Agentforce, Atlas Reasoning Engine, and Slack.
Anthropic has also signaled that additional prebuilt skills will roll out by the end of 2026, suggesting the current 37 represent a starting lineup rather than a final roster.
