Auto-clipping tools are fast and famously cut the punchline. Here is a different way to turn long video into shorts: an agent with judgment and a real timeline.
Auto-clipping tools like Opus Clip promise the dream: drop in a podcast, get back a stack of viral shorts. Sometimes it works. And the most common complaint in their public reviews is the same one, over and over: the AI cuts the joke before the punchline. The setup survives, the payoff dies, and you spend longer fixing clips than you would have spent making them.
The second complaint is the meter: per-minute credit math that punishes exactly the long-form creators the tool is for.
The klo way: direct it, then fix anything #
