AMD is preparing to host one of its biggest tech events of the year. The company’s annual Advancing AI conference is focused entirely on artificial intelligence, data center hardware, enterprise computing, and the software that powers modern AI workloads.
Every year, AMD uses the event to outline its AI strategy, introduce new hardware, and showcase how its partners are using its technology across cloud computing, enterprise, and research. If you’ve been waiting for this year’s event, the wait is almost over, as AMD’s keynote will take place today and will be led by CEO Dr. Lisa Su, alongside several other executives and industry partners.
AMD Advancing AI keynote start time #
The Advancing AI 2026 keynote will begin on July 23 at 9:30 AM PT. Due to time zone differences, the event will start at different times depending on where you live. What to expect from Advancing AI #
The keynote is expected to focus heavily on AMD’s next-gen AI infrastructure. One of the biggest announcements could be the Instinct MI450 accelerator family, which is designed for demanding AI training and inference workloads. AMD is also widely expected to provide more details about its Helios rack-scale AI platform, which was first introduced last year. The company may demonstrate how Helios is being deployed through partners such as Oracle and HPE while highlighting real-world AI deployments.
Processors are also expected to play a major role. AMD could spend time discussing its upcoming EPYC Venice processors based on the Zen 6 architecture, while possibly offering an early preview of future products beyond its current roadmap. Although the event primarily targets enterprise customers, there is also a chance AMD could briefly tease future consumer technologies, including next-generation Ryzen processors.
The keynote will feature several senior AMD executives, including Dr. Lisa Su, Mark Papermaster, Jack Huynh, Dan McNamara, Rahul Tikoo, Vamsi Boppana, and Salil Raje. AMD has also confirmed appearances from speakers representing companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, AWS, Samsung, Cisco, Supermicro, and Synopsys, among many others.
