Xiaomi founder Lei Jun has revealed a hidden detail inside the company’s Xring O3 chip. A microscope image shows a tiny “OK” hand gesture etched into the chip, measuring just 60 micrometers across. Lei said the symbol represents “everything is OK.”
Xring O3 was unveiled on Aug. 24 as Xiaomi’s flagship AI smartphone SoC. Xiaomi says it is the first flagship mobile chip to surpass 5 million points on AnTuTu, with a 10-core all-performance CPU and a 200 TOPS NPU designed for its MiMo on-device AI model. [IT Home, in Chinese]
