She was identified Thursday by the coroner’s bureau as Haylie Ann Eisele, 26, of Pleasant Hill. A passenger and dog who were also in the vehicle were injured. The collision happened about 4 a.m. Saturday on eastbound Interstate 80 east of Treasure Island on the bridge decline. The CHP said Eisele was driving a black Kia in the far left lane when it suddenly swerved into the roadway shoulder and struck a parked Caltrans truck. The Caltrans employees were outside the vehicle and were not injured. Eisele died at the scene. A male adult passenger was taken to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. A dog that was also in the car was turned over to Alameda County animal control officers. Investigators were attempting to figure out what caused the Kia to swerve into the truck, and whether drugs or alcohol were factors in what happened. The crash caused four eastbound lanes to be closed for about four hours.
