A passenger and dog who were also in the vehicle were injured.\n\nThe collision happened about 4 a.m. Saturday on eastbound Interstate 80 east of Treasure Island on the bridge decline.\n\nThe CHP said Eisele was driving a black Kia in the far left lane when it suddenly swerved into the roadway shoulder and struck a parked Caltrans truck. The Caltrans employees were outside the vehicle and were not injured.\n\nEisele died at the scene.\n\nA male adult passenger was taken to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
