Once you’re out on the water, the AI-powered computer vision identifies each surfer in the lineup and connects with software to deliver their selected wave.\n\n“The Mixtape brings together the two most advanced technologies in their respective fields to make an already unique Endless Surf experience even more personalized,” said Paul Chutter, president of Endless Surf.\n\n“Surfers can share long rides with their friends and family while each getting the wave they want, and operators gain an entirely new session product they can offer their guests.”\n\nSurf parks are typically organized around ability, but Flowstate says their new technology can help bring surfers at different levels together.\n\n“Surfing with friends or family usually means everyone needs to want the same type of wave, or you end up surfing separate sessions,” Flowstate CEO Luke Wallace said. “The Mixtape changes that.”\n\nThe collaboration also includes multi-angle surfing capture and AI-powered coaching. The structure boasts North America’s largest Wavegarden-powered surf lagoon at 5.5 acres.\n\nThe Wavegarden Cove system is designed to generate multiple wave types simultaneously, producing up to 1,000 consistent, ocean-like waves every hour for all surfers from beginners to experts.\n\n**Download The California Post App, follow us on social, and subscribe to our newsletters **\n\n**California Post News**: [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/TheCaliforniaPost/), [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/californiapost), [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@CaliforniaPost), [X](https://x.com/californiapost), [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@thecaliforniapost), [WhatsApp](https://www.whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb6a2IV1NCrL6q2AWq0E), [LinkedIn](http://linkedin.com/company/californiapost)**California Post Sports** [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/capostsports/), [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/capostsports/?hl=en), [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@capostsports), [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@CaliforniaPostSports), [X](https://x.com/capostsports)**California Post **[Opinion](https://x.com/californiapost) **California Post Newsletters**: [Sign up here!](https://email.nypost.com/#california-post)** California Post App**: [Download here!](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/california-post/id6751343487)** Home delivery**: [Sign up here!](https://subscribe.californiapost.com/defaultCAP)** Page Six Hollywood**: [Sign up here!](https://pagesix.com/hollywood-signup/)", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/wild-new-tech-summons-dream-waves-for-surfers-after-spotting-them-in-the-lineup", "canonical_source": "https://nypost.com/2026/08/28/lifestyle/new-ai-technology-creates-custom-tailored-waves-for-pool-surfers/", "published_at": "2026-08-28 21:29:35+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-08-28 21:48:16.359023+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["artificial-intelligence", "computer-vision", "ai-products"], "entities": ["Endless Surf", "Flowstate", "Paul Chutter", "Luke Wallace", "DSRT Surf", "Wavegarden Cove"], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/wild-new-tech-summons-dream-waves-for-surfers-after-spotting-them-in-the-lineup", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/wild-new-tech-summons-dream-waves-for-surfers-after-spotting-them-in-the-lineup.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/wild-new-tech-summons-dream-waves-for-surfers-after-spotting-them-in-the-lineup.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/wild-new-tech-summons-dream-waves-for-surfers-after-spotting-them-in-the-lineup.jsonld"}}
