Core Ultra 9 258K is a heavy-hitting processor
This is a flagship processor with 24 cores and threads, which can operate up to 5.7GHz. It is made to deal with heavy processing and extreme environments; the Arrow Lake architecture equips it with some serious multi-threaded performance. In our Core Ultra 9 285K review, it showcased outstanding multi-core performance, outperforming the competition, while the gaming output wasn’t the best, which isn’t news. However, that doesn’t mean that it completely sucks at gaming, as you’ll still get pretty high FPS at higher resolutions.
RTX 5080 leaves nothing to the imagination
This graphics card is a beast and enters every scene with guns blazing. It has 16GB GDDR7 VRAM and all the processing power and features that come with Blackwell. The VRAM allows it to store more data, such as 4K textures, local AI models, and other data, allowing for smooth and consistent parallel processing. The 240mm AIO fits perfectly
The Core Ultra 9 285K has a 250W TDP, and since it is a flagship processor that is also unlocked, it means that you can really push its limits for increased performance and efficiency. However, thermals are an aspect that also rise with it, but with a 240mm AIO cooler on top of it, you should get a stable and consistent output during sustained loads and get the perfect overclock you want. This is an excellent addition in this build because you simply can’t have a high-end CPU cooler when you have such a beast on your hands.
WiFi 7 and a 2.5G LAN port
We liked that it comes with WiFi 7 and a 2.5G LAN port. A wired connection is the best for streaming, gaming, and working, but if you want a bit more freedom and have a WiFi 7 router, you can simply connect it with the 6GHz frequency and avail all the advancements that come with it. This includes MLO, 4K-QAM, 320MHz channels, elements that promote a high-speed, low-latency, and high-bandwidth connection.
