# Which open-source LLM performs best for customer support chatbots?

If you had to build a chatbot for customer service, which open-source AI model would you choose and why?

I’m only a beginner too, but I would go with GLM 5.2.

It seems to be rather advanced, but is still relatively cheap to call or run.

But as a beginner, I’m sure that there are many others here that are more experienced and more well versed in a variety of open source, open weight models.
