What's the advice for LLM poisoning of artwork these days? An artist is seeking technical solutions to prevent her artwork from being used to train large language models (LLMs), but experts argue that no lasting obfuscation method exists and stronger DRM with provenance tracing is needed. My wife doesn't want to put her artwork online as she does not want it to be used to train LLMs. I wonder if this has culminated in any libraries that makes it feasible for me to build her a custom site where the artwork is processed to defeat LLM training. I don't have a lot of front-end experience, but can cobble together a simple site with a static site generator. I have used eleventy for my band's website. Never could think I'd say that but we need stronger DRM. The one that can trace provenance into the models and is unclear if it can ever exist at all . Other than that am afraid your wife has a point, and no LLM obfuscation is going to be a lasting mitigation.
