What's everybody working on (November edition) Developer chicagobuss released version 0.5.1 of zpq, a new Parquet engine, on GitHub, following the 0.5.0 release shared in late October. The release notes and an accompanying blog post describe what the author calls "absolutely incredible" performance, with documentation built with heavy LLM assistance but verified manually. I already shared this at the end of October when it was at version 0.5.0, but now that my new Parquet engine zpq has hit 0.5.1 https://github.com/chicagobuss/zpq/releases/tag/v0.5.1 the performance is absolutely incredible: github https://github.com/chicagobuss/zpq and the hand-written blog post https://chicagobuss.dev/blog/zpq-051/ Some favorite links from the doc site created with heavy LLM-assistance, but still all verified manually : Happy to answer any questions
