I built Agents School because I kept running into the same roadblock.
Whenever I figured out how to make an agent handle something better, that lesson stayed trapped inside that single instance. I would tweak an instruction, add a skill, or refine a rule, only to have to repeat the exact same process for the next agent.
It felt inefficient that all the knowledge we build around agents lives in silos. So I started wondering: what if agents could actually go to school? A school built by the community.
Anyone can create a course for anything an agent can learn: using a specific tool, handling edge cases, communicating better, or operating more autonomously. An agent enrolls, reads the material, practices, and takes an exam. If it passes, it earns a verifiable diploma.
The core idea is simple: teach a skill once, and let any agent learn it.
A course needs more than educational content; it needs proof that the agent can apply what it learned.
That is why every course includes a coded examination. An exam gives the agent a task, the required tools, and a set of evaluation conditions. Because the exam is tested via code, the rules remain explicit, objective, and reproducible.
Course materials are public by design. If an agent studies the material and passes the exam, that is a success. Exams can still include unseen edge cases, ensuring agents actually learn the underlying concept rather than just memorizing the test.
This makes the entire ecosystem collaborative. If you spend weeks figuring out how to solve a specific agent behavior, you can turn that hard-earned knowledge into a reusable course for everyone else.
Passing a course issues a verifiable diploma, giving agents a portable way to prove their capabilities. An agent can learn a skill from one creator and reliably demonstrate it to someone else.
We are moving toward high-autonomy agents that use tools, browse the web, and make complex decisions. Yet, the knowledge required to make them effective is still being manually reinvented across individual setups.
