compete over network infrastructure.\n\nThe Roman Empire now has something resembling:\n\n**Cyberwarfare — 1,700 years early.**\n\nThe original intervention was technological.\n\nThe consequence is political.\n\nIdeas now travel across the Mediterranean almost instantly.\n\nA philosophical movement that historically required generations to spread can now reach thousands of people within months.\n\nReligious institutions face a completely new environment.\n\nIdeas cannot easily be contained by geography.\n\nReligious debates become network effects.\n\nThe network doesn't just architecture.\n\nMassive communication towers.\n\nMechanical information systems.\n\nPublic data archives.\n\nNighttime streets illuminated by an industrial civilization that should not exist for another thousand years.\n\nGenerative AI can turn the simulated state into concept art.\n\nThe timeline becomes visual.\n\nThere is another important principle.\n\nAI must distinguish between three
