We checked whether AI recommends our own product. It doesn't, yet. Envoyra, a tool that checks whether AI assistants recommend a brand, ran its own product through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity on 21 October 2026, asking 18 questions once each for 72 total answers. The assistants described Envoyra accurately in 9 of 20 answers to branded queries, said they didn't know it in 8, and misdescribed it in 3 (all Gemini); across 36 open-question answers the tool was recommended zero times, with Semrush, Otterly, Profound, Ahrefs and Brandwatch named instead. Founder Golara Serio said the company will re-run the same 36 open questions in four weeks and publish the count. We build a tool that checks whether AI assistants recommend a brand, so we ran it on ourselves. On 21 October 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity 18 questions, one run per question 72 answers . When someone asked about Envoyra by name, the assistants described us accurately in 9 of 20 answers. In 8 they said they didn't know us, and in 3 all Gemini they described something else. When someone asked an open question, like "what tools show whether ChatGPT recommends my business?", they recommended us in 0 of 36 answers. They named Semrush, Otterly, Profound, Ahrefs and Brandwatch instead. What we learned: We'll re-run the same 36 open questions in four weeks and post the count, whatever it is.
