v0.6.0

Multipeer released version 0.6.0, adding git worktree support so several agents can work in one project without conflicting, with each agent card showing its branch. Agents now name themselves after the first prompt on Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode cards, and the release adds privacy screens that keep selected canvas content local when a canvas is shared. The update also fixes a security issue: pasting or duplicating a collaborator's terminal or agent no longer runs their command on your computer, and the copy waits stopped until you choose Restart.

Highlights Several agents can now change one project without stepping on each other: start one in a git folder and give it a worktree, a branch and folder of its own beside your repo. Agents name themselves after your first prompt, so you can tell your cards apart at a glance, and privacy screens keep part of your canvas to yourself when you share it. Tell us what's wrong or what you'd like with Send feedback, at the bottom of the sidebar. Added

  • Agents in git worktrees. Start an agent in a git folder and choose where it works: the folder itself, a worktree the repo already has, or New worktree, a branch of its own beside the repo, so several agents can change the same project without stepping on each other. Each card shows its branch.
  • Agents name themselves: after your first prompt, a Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode card takes the few words the agent gives its work, like Fibonacci heap explanation, decoding them in out of scrambled letters. A name you gave it stays.
  • Privacy screens, in the +: a see-through frame that only you see. Everything of yours it touches stays on your computer when you share your canvas, so collaborators never see it.
  • Send feedback, at the bottom of the sidebar (or Report a bug in ⌘K): tell us about a bug, an idea or anything else, with screenshots of the window or your own images, and see exactly what's attached before it's sent.
  • βŒƒTab and βŒƒβ‡§Tab move the keyboard to the next or previous terminal, agent or browser tab on the canvas, and βŒƒ1β€“βŒƒ9 straight to one, even while you're typing in one. The canvas glides to it if it's out of view.
  • Browser cards play sound, with a speaker in the card's header to mute the page. ⌘F finds text in the page, a page can go full screen (Esc brings you back), and files you drop on a page go to it. Changed
  • Files is in the right sidebar (βŒ₯⌘), beside Details, and follows the terminal or agent you pick, showing its branch and folder. It keeps itself current, so there's no Refresh to press.
  • Each terminal's and agent's state in the sidebar is a small box of pixels, moving while an agent works.
  • Browser cards are sharp at every zoom level and scroll exactly as far as your trackpad moves. They show the page's last picture while it loads, and a page that crashes reloads by itself.
  • The rail's + opens a grid of tools beside it, four to a row, instead of a long list up the window.
  • Multipeer now writes its name with a capital M: in Settings, its messages and the emails it sends. Fixed
  • Files shows every folder in a big project. A large folder like vendor/ could fill the list and leave others such as app/ and public/ out.
  • Zooming in or out while you follow someone keeps you following them, instead of dropping you back to your own view.
  • ⌘+ and βŒ˜βˆ’ zoom the canvas while you're typing in a terminal, agent or note, around the one you're in, so you no longer have to click out of it first. ⌘+ works with or without Shift.
  • New terminals, agents, notes, files and browser tabs open in the nearest empty space to where you're looking instead of on top of other cards, and files you drop onto the canvas land side by side where you drop them.
  • On macOS, closing Multipeer's window on a MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar quits it cleanly instead of ending in a crash report.
  • On macOS, clicking the buttons along the top of the window (space tabs, +, the sidebar toggle, Back, Share) works in full screen on an external display, where it often did nothing. Security
  • Pasting or duplicating a collaborator's terminal or agent no longer runs their command on your computer. The copy waits, stopped, until you choose Restart; plain shells, agents started without arguments and commands you ran yourself still start as before.
