Applicants installed a secure browser, kept their webcams and microphones active, and were continuously recorded. The company asked to present its logs and technical evidence directly to investigators. Territorium warned generally that repeated questions or sequences can become exposed across groups and testing times. Automated proctoring was one layer in a process that also depended on human review, scheduling, question security and institutional decisions. UNAM’s commission recommended including both initially selected applicants and near-cutoff applicants who could have lost places because unusually high scores pushed admission thresholds upward. The university has said it will operate locations outside Mexico City as well as in the capital. UNAM said rejected applicants could seek a score review, while people whose exams were canceled could request an appointment to inspect the evidence underlying that decision.
