# UMG Recordings files 2d lawsuit v. Suno as expected. Adds 60,202 works to copyright claim.

As expected, UMG Recordings filed a second copyright suit against Suno. This one adds 60,2022 additional songs that Suno allegedly used to train its models. This scenario was anticipated by Judge Saylor in his denial of motion for leave to amend the complaint, see below. And it’s similar to what happened with *Concord Music v. Anthropic I* and *Concord Music v. Anthropic II.* Now we have *UMG Recordings v. Suno I* and *UMG Recordings v. Suno II.*

Suno has settled part of the first lawsuit, striking a settlement with co-plaintiff Warner Music Group. Suno has also launched a new music platform that is trained on [fully licensed music](https://www.billboard.com/pro/suno-new-ai-model-industry-licenses-what-music-business-faq/). The pending lawsuits against Suno involve earlier models of Suno that are no longer in use.
