This site has been previously discussed here: MV2/3 adblocker use instead of DNS filtering I do not have any further insight into “Ublock DNS” at this point, but from that previous thread, I would be quite skeptical of it.
I recommend you stay away from this. ublockdns is from the same person who runs the ublockorigin . com fansite which has top SEO and only discloses that it’s not affiliated with gorhill (the uBO maintainer) in the small print on the footer. The authors explanation for making ublockdns and promoting it on ublockorigin . com is that mobile users were left without a solution blatantly ingorning uBO Lite for iOS and uBO for Firefox Android. The author also promotes his own AI tools and weird startup in the ublockorigin . com footer. The ublockdns “client” is also vibecoded garbage. uBO now includes a filter which adds a warning to ublockorigin . com as well as ublock . org: Reddit - Please wait for verification
Tux 5 No. If you really don’t trust your ISP, and hosting your own recursive DNS server is not an option, just use something like Quad9 over HTTPS.
